I think I would post more if I didn't hate scanning sooooooooo much. Everything I draw is always too big to fit in the scanner and I have to scan it in pieces and then reassemble in Photoshop. poo.

Since I haven't posted in over two months, here is a smattering of stuff I've thought about posting, but never got around to it.

I should have known better than to colour something digitally outside of work....can never muster up the enthusiams to sit in front of the computer longer than I need to....hence the scribbliness. I may still do a marker versions of this guy.

I got to play more this morning!

this year I got a cintiq sized tax return. then my computer busted and so I got a new computer too. Andrzej was kind enough to spend all day building the new computer for me today and now all the new stuff is set up and it's bed time but I did a quick sketch just to make sure that my new stuff is all really cool.

my colleagues at work were kind enough to remind me that a cintiq will not make me a better drawer. I will try to keep that it mind.

Here, have some life drawing. I have piles and piles of it. I sorted through some of it and put aside "good" drawings", but now I've lost them. These ones are from last week. I'm pretty sure I have enough life drawing to feed a small country. Like Denmark.

Lately I've noticed a theme in my work. That theme is "unfinished." Hopefully soon I'll be able to do more with them. I'm posting these mostly because it's been over a month since my lasy post.

I got oil paints for Christmas....I finally got up the nerve to use them last night. I started three little paintings just to play with different ways of using the paint. The other two are drying and need more work. I did this one for instant gratification and to finally have something to post.
