Retro

Hula is retro...right?
Here you go Mark...she has a leg now and tangents revised. (Actually, it's still there kind of...but I have to start animating now or I will most likely die before next tuesday) Still have some colouring issues though. Also, I would advise to not look up close at this image. It ain't pretty.

i think it needs some giant, poorly drawn hibiscus flowers framing it ;)

janis: I agree

Mark: You are so very right. I think the leg may have disappeared during the colouring faze, because in the sketch it is there. I will fix at some later time or date because the thing was taking waaaayyyy too long and I had to get on with other stuff. I'll also fix the tangents...I know there are others beside that volcano. The colouring will also be fixed at some other unspecified time. Oh yes...there are many problems.

Errr...thanks. Honestly, there is a lot that bugs me about it still...but I do really appreciate honest comments because it gives me motivation to make it better.
And one of these days, I will be sending the story boards...but they are at school so I can't get them.
As for Tula, I probably won't see her for a bit because the school has been closed due to a water main bursting. That is making it very difficult to work on animation. sO, if I were to predict her mood, I would guess she's stressed.

It's nostalgic!

I agree with you about the highlights on the skin. I think I like them in the grass skirt. I've been experimenting in photoshop with style...but I think I like the flat best.
